I have been operating the Age and Longevity Research Laboratory since 1996 with a long line of successes in determining life history characteristics of various aquatic organisms. My work has been revelational in terms of validating lifespans that typically exceed estimates from previous studies — see my website for history of explorations. www.astrofish.me
My services provide the opportunity for researchers and managers to validate the age reading protocol and ultimately derive age-validated life history characteristics of important fisheries and members of aquatic ecosystems.
If you are interested in what I have to offer please feel free to contact me to discuss experimental designs that will address your needs.
This is a short clip of an otolith core extraction taking place on a New Wave Research micromill (Elemental Scientific Lasers; http://www.nwrlasers.com ). I am one of the earliest owners and a productive user of this instrument for more than 20 years and I have become an expert in developing innovative research applications.
Your contribution will enable me to perform pioneering research on important fishes and other aquatic organisms with colleagues from all over the world. I would be grateful for your generosity and promise to continue to discover the information necessary for sustainable fisheries and appropriate conservation measures.
